La Dimora di Pindaro

Hospitality in the Eastern Maiella

In the small village of Colledimacine, nestled among the gentle contours of the Abruzzo hinterland and the slopes of the Maiella’s eastern side, an ancient mansion comes back to life as “La Dimora di Pindaro.”

The project was born from the desire to breathe new life into this building, transforming it into a place of hospitality where time flows slowly and the gaze opens onto the surrounding landscape.
The intervention takes shape through a dialogue between a neutral, luminous envelope defined by light, warm tones and antique and modern furnishings that tell different, local, and complementary stories.

The ground floor, in addition to the entrance hall, hosts a small venue that becomes a space for gathering and live music; on the upper floors, two apartments comprise six bedrooms, filled with light and overlooking the views of Colledimacine.
An intervention that brings together memory and contemporaneity, balancing architecture, landscape, and hospitality.
